This traditional sauna is not a steam shower or steam room.
The Harvia stove in this unit uses water poured over hot sauna stones to create a gentle steam, which naturally raises humidity inside the sauna room. This process enhances the traditional sauna experience by softening the heat and supporting deeper sweating.
However, this is not a sealed steam enclosure and will not produce thick, fog-like steam similar to a steam shower or Turkish-style steam bath. The humidity is noticeable — but mild — and designed to complement dry heat, not replace a dedicated steam system.
