Hi, I’m Caro, Here’s Why We Started Home Spa Direct
I want to share our origin story with you because it explains the WHY behind Home Spa Direct. First things first: this isn’t just a women-owned business, it is family-run and part of a heart-led life vision.
We are a family of four; my husband, our two kids and me. We run this business together, each with multiple and interchangeable roles. Our kids are the main motivation, and a pure source of ideas and innovation. They are constantly inspiring us to not let our limited “adult” minds constrain us. My husband is an invaluable consultant with 20+ years of experience shaping successful brands. I bring my own essence to the mix, and together, we’ve created a heart-led, built-to-serve space for everyone who walks through our digital doors.
Home Spa Direct mirrors a deeply personal family pursuit: Nurturing by design. Intentionally creating nourishing spaces and moments right where we are.
The Whisper That Started It All
This vision has been quietly growing for years, long before I could put it into words.
Back when I was deep in a successful career in advertising, I felt that tug: “there has to be more than this always-on way of living.”
I had helped big brands find their voice, but somewhere along the way, I’d lost mine. I wanted to create something meaningful, without sacrificing health, family, or purpose. So, eventually I stepped away looking for a way home… a way to find myself again.
After 5 years of soul-searching, studying Kundalini Yoga, earning my certification to teach, and finally building a daily meditation and yoga practice (a.k.a. Sadhana), the pandemic arrived as the ultimate test for humanity. Even though I felt prepared and had great tools, it still hit me hard. At the beginning, it felt like I was failing miserably.
When the World Stopped
We all have unique stories from those times, but I know we all can relate to some universal truths: our routines disappeared, and we found ourselves confined to the spaces we called home, alone or with people we barely knew or rarely spent time with before: our families.
After the initial shock, we chose to do something different. We invested in something nurturing: we put a sauna in our walk-in closet and built an indoor playground in our garage. Wild, I know. But those tiny spaces became places to breathe, reset, and create daily rituals that made us feel alive, and free again.
That decision was the first time we intentionally designed not just our spaces, but our life. And we loved it. Without realizing it, that choice became a habit. We began approaching every aspect of our lives with more intention.
Designing Life on Purpose
In 2020, we enrolled our kids in a revolutionary approach to education. And in 2024, we made a family dream a reality: living together in a foreign country for an extended period.
We traveled through Europe for three months, visiting 13 countries, and 28 cities. While constantly on the move, calling “home” 28 different places in 82 days, we practiced finding roots, peace, and security within ourselves.
We could no longer rely on physical places, or possessions for comfort. We learned the power of tuning in (instead of checking out). Checking in to what we needed, how we felt, and who we were becoming.
Along the way, we soaked in cultures that value rest, connection, and intentionally design their lives around what matter most.
From Our Family to Yours

In 2025, we opened the digital doors of Home Spa Direct, intentionally built to support what matters most to us, while supporting others in their own journeys.
We recognize that no career change, sauna, vacation, or dream come true holds the key to a nurturing life. We believe it all starts within.
When we invest energy, resources and time into truly knowing ourselves, to decipher what matter most, and then create the moments and spaces to support and reflect that, everything shifts. When we feel restored and nurtured, everything opens up: our energy sharpens, our purpose clarifies, and our creativity flows freely.
That’s what we called intentionally building a life that nurtures the uniqueness of YOU.

We exist to serve, not just to sell. Our hope is to inspire people to look within themselves, to start building an inner sanctuary where peace, power, and possibility meet, so we can show up in the world as our most vibrant selves.
